HOW TO GET TO HUANCAYO FROM LIMA
Now that the famous Historical Andean train is running again you can enjoy this wonderful trip, please take a look to our Train trip Schedules for 2007 and 2008 .
There is also a good road, climbing through strikingly beautiful countryside. The bus trip takes about 7 hours. We recommend the following bus companies:

There are other bus companies, but they are not providing the best service. Cheap might be risky.
TRANSPORT FROM HUANCAYO TO THE OTHER CITIES
Travelling from Huancayo by bus, auto or train is a wonderful experience, due to the people and landscape. Have a safe and enjoyable journey.
Train Tips :
Go to the Chilca train station (South of Huancayo) at least 30 minutes before your departure time, get a “Buffet” class ticket if you want to have a reserved seat , take some water and something to eat (be careful with the food sold in the train ). Enjoy yourself!
