PERU is a beautiful country with immense cultural and biological diversity. Located close to the equator and surrounding high Andean mountains, Peru has almost every possible climatic zone from tropical forest to desert coast to the glaciers of the sierra. There are special plants and animals for each area -- always something new to see as you travel by foot, bike, train, plane, bus and boat.

Even more fascinating is the range and depth of cultures. Highly developed societies have lived in Peru for thousands of years, leaving intriguing traces of the past in every part of the country. Much of what remains is spectacular -- the beautifully crafted Inca cities of Machu Picchu and Cusco, the Nazca lines, the floating islands of Lake Titicaca -- but how and why were they constructed?
The cultures of the present retain the diversity and creativity of the past. In every region, and even from village to village, there are distinct and vibrant customs as people celebrate the successes, tragedies and events of daily life. Incas del Peru can ensure that you get the most out of your trip anywhere in Peru, but we are especially proud to offer trips and cultural experiences in the Central Highlands.
